Program Overview

The Bsquare System Builder Program enables members of the Intel® Technology Provider Program to easily leverage Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7) with designated Intel Desktop Board products.

The Program addresses key technical and business issues faced by System Builders today, including:

Lower OS platform cost in relation to underlying hardware components
Requirement for lower power/green solutions with reduced footprints
Improved security
Easier product activation

Bsquare has created custom WES7 runtime OS images for eligible Intel Desktop Boards (currently DH61AG, D525MW, DQ67EP). These Intel Atom™ and Intel Core™ enabled motherboards, combined with WES7, are ideal platforms to power the next generation of smart device solutions such as digital signage, retail POS, digital surveillance and more.

Combined with favorable Windows Embedded licensing as well as products, technical support and engineering services from Bsquare, this Program enables System Builders to aggressively grow their market presence beyond the traditional PC desktop.

Program participants receive a Windows Embedded Standard 7 run-time OS image, custom-built and validated by Bsquare for an eligible Intel Desktop Board plus a Bsquare installation utility and documentation.
Participants also gain access to a variety of free and paid Bsquare technical support and knowledge base resources for WES7 and eligible Intel Desktop Boards.
